With over 20 years of experience as an outsider artist, focused on handmade mixed media collage, Jayson Fate’s work offers a spiritually colorful and dynamic experience, exposing a musical and vivid world of imagination. His work addresses the themes of rebirth, transformation, love and light.

Jayson’s process is timely and meticulous, focused on fine precision cuts in layers using a variety of papers to add texture and feeling. His work has been shown in Chicago, California, New York and Miami. He has been featured at the Carmel Art & Film Festival, and as a Spotlight Award winner at Spectrum Miami 2021.

“Most of my work has been some divine intervention. God has blessed me and honestly, I roll day by day. The art just happens organically and when I need cash I push a bit. I archive images that interest me from tear sheets, books, magazines, any form of mixed media even garbage I find on my litter cleanups and create.”
